Their influence shapes her journey as she navigates loyalty, sacrifice, and the pursuit of justice and freedom.
A few years ago, I became obsessed with a Chinese drama titled "Princess Agents." As I reflect on all the dramas I've watched, I've compiled a list of the ones that have frustrated me the most, and "Princess Agents" ranks in my top three. I was very invested in the story, and when season one ended on a sad cliffhanger—something common in dramas—I was upset to hear that after five years, season two was unlikely to air. (*)
After reading some information about what happened after Season 1 ended on MyDramaList (MDL), I discovered that an English version of the novel was available. As is often the case, the drama and the novel differ, but I must say that this drama introduced me to Zhao Li Ling and Shawn Dou, and I’ve been a fan ever since!
The novel itself is a slow-burning romance, featuring a heroine who loves three men in different ways and ultimately becomes a legend. It contains everything I look for in a novel. Editing this novel was certainly no chore for me; that’s an understatement! -FD
