National School Prince is a Girl
In this online gaming world, Fu Jiu excels at dismantling corruption and standing up for justice, all while captivating everyone around her with an undeniable charisma that draws in admirers from every corner of her digital kingdom. Her charm, however, leads to some misunderstandings, particularly with the wealthy and enigmatic Almighty Qin and his closely-knit inner circle, who misconstrue her flirtations as overtly homosexual advances.
As time passes, the lines between their initial interactions blur, and Almighty Qin finds himself increasingly enamored with what he believes is a boy. This leaves him in a perplexing situation: has he developed feelings for Fu Jiu, or has he unwittingly found himself attracted to a girl who presents as a young man? Sometimes, when things are meant to be, they just happen. I have a soft spot for genius heroes, whether they're male or female, but I often find it hard to discover them. One day, while browsing online, I stumbled upon a comic that caught my attention. Up until that point, I wasn’t particularly fond of comics, but this one changed my perspective.
Later, I found a novel on Amazon. However, purchasing it turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE! The translation was terrible, and I lost $6. While that’s not a huge amount, it was still frustrating to waste my money. I’ve bought many Chinese eBooks on Amazon, and I often find that fans try to profit from them, leading to poor translations. (no more, unless it is from a house edition).
On the bright side, the comic was a much better adaptation. I enjoyed the light reading experience. I had been eager to read "A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College," but I couldn't find a single English version of that novel. And this is how I stumped on this one. So, despite one loss, there was also a gain. This novel is truly good! However, I have a lot on my plate with novels to proofread and edit (understatement ah!), so this one is a project for now. -FD
