Supreme God Emperor - V1C2

Chapter 2

Malicious Students

Mu Yun was taken aback. He hadn’t expected to be reborn after so long!

However, for the ancient antiques scattered across the numerous vast worlds, the passage of ten thousand years is merely a fleeting moment. They possess an abundance of time to meticulously plot their revenge!

As Mu Yun reflected on his previous life as the revered supreme fairy king, a wave of fury surged within him—a memory of the treachery that led to his betrayal and murder by a cunning swindler. Each recollection stoked his righteous anger.

Observing Mo Yang's continued laughter, a wry smile flickered across Mu Yun's lips. It was evident that these students truly believed they could treat him—this "Mu Yun"—as an easy target, someone they could bully without facing any repercussions. Their arrogance was palpable.

Yet, Mu Yun couldn't disguise the fact that this incarnation of himself was pitifully weak in body. At the tender age of nineteen, he had not even reached the Body Tempering stage; his physical powers were negligible, leaving him vulnerable. It was no wonder these students felt emboldened to display their bravado in his presence, seeing him as little more than an insignificant obstacle in their path.

"Teacher Mu, you haven't answered the student's question yet!"

Just as Mu Yun was focusing on Mo Yang and preparing to teach him a lesson, a beautiful female voice suddenly interrupted.

A female student stood up from her seat, a sweet smile lighting up her face as she confidently addressed the class. Her voice carried an inviting lilt as she asked, "Teacher Mu, could you explain why we need to add dead leaves when refining Bai Ling Dan?"

Mu Yun shifted his gaze from Mo Yang, who had been idly tapping his pen, to the girl whose question had sparked his curiosity. She was strikingly beautiful, with a low-cut blouse that subtly accentuated her curves, making it difficult for him to concentrate. Distracting! was the only word that echoed in his mind.

Her long, silky black hair was expertly tied into a high ponytail, allowing cascading locks to fall gracefully down her back. Every movement she made highlighted her tiny waist, which seemed delicate enough to snap with the slightest pressure.

Her name was Miao Xianyu, and she possessed an undeniable allure that could captivate the attention of anyone in the room. Yet, beneath her enchanting exterior, Mu Yun was acutely aware of her mischievous reputation. She was known for her clever tactics, often trying to put her teachers in compromising positions, and it struck him that this question was just another way to catch him off guard and embarrass him.

Alchemy? Mu Yun smirked.

Did she think she could catch him off guard? Not a chance! As the supreme immortal king of the dignified world, mastering alchemy and tool refinement came naturally to Mu Yun, especially in the Heavenly Luck Continent, which was just one of the countless smaller worlds.

Many other students in the class chuckled at Miao Xianyu’s question, their smiles tinged with malice.

This question seems simple, but it has a profound explanation. They believe that, with Mu Yun's limited knowledge, he could not answer it, which they find hilarious and humiliate him again! Ah! Let me teach you a lesson!

Dozens of students were waiting for their teacher to make a fool of himself again. They had grown accustomed to witnessing Mu Yun's embarrassment when he struggled to answer questions.

With an air of casual confidence, Mu Yun locked his gaze onto Miao Xianyu's, his dark eyes intense and unwavering. The connection sent a ripple of discomfort through her, leaving her unsettled, as the weight of his stare seemed to pierce beyond her exterior. She found herself grappling with an unfamiliar reaction, unsure of what about that moment provoked such an unexpected response within her.

"Bai Ling Pill is a first-grade pill. For warriors who have entered the physical double bone forging realm, it can enhance their bone quality, ensuring that as they advance into the physical triple easy tendon realm, the tenacity of their muscles and veins will be more complete," Mu Yun explained confidently. "Bai Ling Pill is created by combining three herbs: Dead Leaf Grass, Bai Ling Hua, and Gui Mu Root. Bai Ling Hua contains ample aura, but it requires Gui Mu Root to synthesize effectively."

"However, Gui Mu Root has a bitter taste that can affect the texture of the Bai Ling Hua's aura, and that's where Dead Leaf Grass comes in—it helps neutralize the bitterness of the Gui Mu Root."

"Furthermore, the most important point is that while dead leaf grass seems to possess only withering properties, its roots contain a strong vitality. By adding it to the mixture, we can perfectly combine the spirituality of the Bai Ling flower and the Gui Mu Root, thereby enhancing the efficacy of the Bai Ling Pill!"

With a confident smile playing at the corners of his lips, Mu Yun leaned casually against the doorframe, his eyes glinting with mischief. He allowed a hint of provocation to seep into his tone as he glanced at Miao Xianyu's silhouette with disdain. There was an air of challenge between them, crackling like static electricity, that promised an intriguing conversation ahead.

The students were left dumbfounded by his eloquence. Why had their usually blushing instructor suddenly transformed so dramatically today?

Not everyone could refine pills, and Miao Xianyu, with her exceptional background, had shown a talent for alchemy since childhood. Everyone was eager to see if she would confirm the accuracy of Mu Yun's explanation or dismiss it as nonsense.

"You got it right!" Miao Xianyu huffed, her lips pouting slightly in frustration. With each breath, her chest rose and fell in an agitated rhythm, sending a subtle wave through her loose blouse.

It was perplexing, to say the least. How could the typically dull and sluggish animal husbandry teacher Mu, often regarded as nothing more than a big fool, actually manage to answer a question today? It was a rare occurrence that sparked Miao Xianyu's curiosity but mostly frustration.

The question itself may have seemed simple on the surface, yet it revealed a deeper layer of knowledge. The withered leaf grass was known to foster a perfect synergy between the spirituality of the Bailinghua and the medicinal properties of cassia root. Even some seasoned two-star alchemists might struggle with this concept; she had only grasped its intricacies recently through her grandfather's meticulous teachings.

Determined not to let her own doubts hinder her, Miao Xianyu reassured herself that Mu Yun was likely just ignorant of this realm of knowledge.

Suddenly, a mischievous smile spread across Miao Xianyu's face as a brilliant idea occurred to her. She stole a glance at Mu Yun, her smirk widening. Grandpa had once mentioned an alchemy problem that had tormented him for years, and Miao knew that with Mu Yun's limited understanding, he would surely flounder at the question she had in mind. This time, it was her turn to shine and perhaps even embarrass him.

With newfound confidence, she stepped up onto the podium, her voice ringing clear and authoritative. "Teacher Mu, I have a question that has puzzled our students for a long time!" she declared, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Have you ever heard of the Spirit Gathering Pill?"

As soon as she posed the query, a thick silence enveloped the classroom, anticipation hanging in the air like a taut string.
