Sitting in the "rooftop garden," Coco and Fatty were unaware of what had happened in the restroom. They were immersed in their meal when they noticed CEO Qin had been in the restroom too long.
Fatty frowned and asked, "Did something happen?"
Coco shrugged it off, remarking, "What could possibly happen? That guy is always focused on sleeping with the Captain."
"COCO!" Fatty exclaimed, putting down his fork and knife while pointing behind Coco, his expression twitching.
Feeling an unexpected chill creeping in from behind, Coco's voice climbed an octave as he swiftly shifted the topic. "Consider this—our captain isn't exactly someone you'd find easy to sleep with! He’s into girls, not guys!" That was a relief. He successfully kept his concerns about Captain possibly turning gay to himself. That was a near miss! Coco wiped the sweat from his brow.
Qin Mo's expression remained unchanged; the atmosphere in the room felt more frigid than ever, as if the entire space had frozen.
Coco felt as though he had fallen into an ice cellar, the intense chill emanating from CEO Qin making everyone uncomfortable. He glanced at Fatty, whose eyes seemed to say "Why did Captain change so dramatically after using the restroom? It looks like he wants to murder someone".
Fatty shook his head, indicating he had no idea. "Don't talk! Don’t let Boss stare at you!"
They both instinctively sat back, feeling their CEO's oppressive aura. Qin Mo's dark and ominous voice loomed over them. "Ten more lobsters for him. Big ones.”
Coco and Fatty weren't the only ones surprised; even the nearby waiter asked, "More?" Yet the CEO's statement was final. The scene was strange and entirely unlike him! After all, having so many lobsters wouldn't be easy to digest.
Once the waiter walked out, Fatty pondered aloud, "CEO Qin, do you really think Fu Jiu is Spade Z? I find him odd."
Coco defended Fu Jiu, saying, "He's gay, and a gay man's world can be like this. But he’s a bit different from the Fu family black sheep I used to know. Wasn’t he like that before?"
"Like what?" Fatty asked, as a homebody with little exposure to such dynamics. Coco counted on his fingers. "A nymphomaniac; ostentatious; tasteless; a typical nouveau riche. He didn’t harm anyone, but nobody liked him because of his attitude. Plus, being gay made him a target for ostracism."
"And he wants to sleep with..." Fatty began but stopped abruptly. Qin Mo was toying with a lighter, raising an eyebrow coldly.
"He wants to sleep with who? Why did you stop? Hmm?"
"Sleep... sleep... sleep..." Fatty stammered, struggling to find a better word. "Sleep with... me?"
"You?" Qin Mo twirled the lighter in his fingers, pausing briefly. His tone turned icy, as sharp as an unsheathed sword poised for confrontation. "He wouldn't dare; you're not good-looking enough."
Fatty was taken aback. Why is my CEO criticizing my looks even after I tried to defend him?
To save Fatty from trouble, Coco said, "Captain, should we test Fu Jiu?"
"No need." Qin Mo tilted his head and replied in a flat, emotionless voice.
"If it is him," Fatty frowned. "I really can't figure out why Spade Z would ask you to have a gay meetup. Is he just playing games to get closer to the Boss? Is that why he wanted to meet up?" Fatty glanced at their CEO, relieved to see he was being rational and didn't outright reject his suggestion.
But then Coco thought of something and suddenly sat up straight. "No, it’s not about getting close to the Captain. If that were the case, he wouldn’t have declined the Captain's friend request when he sent it. Isn't our Captain recruiting new contestants? Many companies under us want to send people to our company. Madam Fu seems to be having issues with her company; all her contestants have been poached, and she can't even provide a name list. If this continues, her company will crash."
"You’re saying Spade Z asked to meet the CEO for this reason?" Fatty said, looking at Qin Mo. This time, it seemed like the CEO almost dropped the lighter. However, Qin Mo remained silent. He raised his jade-like hand slightly and picked up the wine glass on the table, swirling it several times while his deep eyes turned cold.
So this was the reason Spade Z wanted to meet me...

The conversation suddenly caught Fu Jiu off guard. This guy was clearly teasing her on purpose, using her own words against her. After playfully blowing in his ear, he was now getting back at her? She only had 5000 yuan, earned from gaming—enough for just five lobsters. The gay meetup handbook was a joke! Almighty Qin, if you keep using these revenge tactics, you won't be able to make any gay friends, let alone find a girlfriend! stopped when Fu Jiu entered the room. She immediately noticed that ten more lobsters had been placed on the table. The dinner table wasn't small; they had reserved a presidential luxury table that could seat twelve people, but it was now overflowing with lobsters. Almighty Qin's food only took up a tiny space on the table. He seemed intent on overfeeding her.
Fu Jiu raised her head in frustration. Did the gay meetup guide not teach Almighty to be generous and nice to the in-game friend he was meeting for the first time? You can't waste money like this, no matter how rich you are! These aren’t cheap ten-yuan miniature lobsters; these are all Australian lobsters[i]!
The man noticed her murmurs, which seemed to convey her frustration. He laughed lightly, pulled out a cigarette, and placed it between his lips. After lighting it, he tilted his chin up and said, "They're all yours, eat up."
"Fine," Fu Jiu said with a mischievous grin. "Well, I’ll eat then. Besides, I’m not the one paying." However, she noticed that Almighty Qin seemed even colder than before. She hadn't overstepped any boundaries with him, so why was he smirking at her? Did something happen while she was away? After thinking it over for a moment, she still couldn't figure out the reason.
Having already eaten several lobsters, Fu Jiu felt quite satisfied. After this meeting, she wouldn't have to hide her status in the contest anymore, nor would she have to worry about Qin Mo investigating her. To be honest, this was her first time dealing with such a formidable opponent. He had even uncovered that she liked lollipops. If he continued to investigate her, who knew what he might discover? She couldn't afford to be scrutinized by Qin Mo—not only because she had been reborn but, most importantly... she was a girl, not a boy.
